Multiple Sclerosis is known as a silent disease, however over the last weekend a group of supportive friends, family and business owners from Toowoomba and surrounds were anything but silent. With a fundraising afternoon tea held on 30th June seeing in excess of 100 attendees coming together to show their support.
With the aim of raising funds for MS Queensland to go towards support for people with MS as well as research into this disease, the aim was well and truly exceeded thanks to the generosity of many.
The day wasn't all about fundraising, it was also about raising awareness. It was the aim of recently diagnosed Melissah who operates diagnosis-ms.com to also get the word out about what MS is and what life with MS means. If you would like to follow her journey and learn more be sure to visit Diagnosis MS to read more.
